2007 Conference, York: Information on papers and posters

Papers

Papers should be no longer than 20 minutes in duration. Provision will be made for 'PowerPoint', slides and OHP's; please let us know of any other AV requirements you may have.

Posters & Stand Alone 'PowerPoints'

Provision has been made for delegates to make poster presentations if they wish, which will be displayed in rooms associated with the Department of Archaeology at York. Posters must be no larger than A1 in size, and preferably in portrait rather than landscape format.

In addition, there will be some scope for the use of PC's as an alternative to the usual poster formats. These will be set up in rooms associated with the Department of Archaeology. To ensure compatibility, please use 'PowerPoint' for these presentations.

Petrological microscopes

A small number of petrological microscopes will also be provided in the same room as the posters and stand alone PC presentations. Feel free to bring slides if you wish to compare materials and exchange information during the conference.

Attendance, Presentation Format and Dinner

For health and safety reasons, we need to be able to provide an accurate assessment of the number of people attending from the 6th to the 9th of September. For that reason, we would be very grateful if you could follow this link to complete an online form by entering your name and simply clicking on those morning and afternoon sessions that you plan or are able to attend.
